Baby Toy Hammock
A baby toy hammock is yet another type of toy hammock you can choose. Most of the time, toy hammocks are used for holding stuffed animals. However, you can get specially treated ones for bath toys. These can also be used to hold light weight baby toys.
We like to use a baby toy hammock over the changing table. This will allow you to grab a toy quickly to keep little hands busy while you are doing a diaper change. If the baby is in the crib, you can even hand him a toy to keep him occupied for a little bit. Not only that, this tends to look attractive and keep toys from getting lost (or carried off by older siblings!)
When you are looking at the baby toy hammocks, you will basically see two different types:
- 2 Hooks – these will look flat in the picture. Like it sounds, a 2 hooked hammock has two attachment points on the wall. This will require less holes in the wall than a three point hammock. However, it tends to be a smaller size. It also is not as sturdy, and has trouble holding as much.
- 3 hooks – these are triangular shaped. They require three attachment points, one in the corner and one on each wall. These tend to be larger and hold more toys.
Which baby toy hammock you choose will depend on how many toys you have. If you just want to keep a few, a 2 hook variety may work for you. But if you have a lot, than the 3 hook model will work better. Both models typically cost less than $10 online.
